Exterior Design

When competing with the market’s most famous players, the 2024 GMC Acadia stands tall and proud. There have been no adjustments made in this aspect compared to the previous year other than the adoption of the new Light Stone Metallic color. A pair of 18-inch wheels are standard across the lineup, but the 2024 model year Acadia receives an option to pick between two sets of 20-inch wheels. For an extra $2,295, you can get a bunch of painted aluminum wheels in Sterling Silver or High Gloss Black.

The Ford Explorer is the most significant and heaviest group, followed by the Kia Telluride. That said, the Telluride is the lightest of them all. The ample wheelbase of Ford and Kia enables it to open up plenty of room inside its cabin. The GMC Acadia features a truck-like front fascia that looks the most forceful on the road. At the same time, the Toyota Highlander has a soft and modern aesthetic appeal to its exterior styling.

Interior Design

The interior of 2024 GMC Acadia remains unaltered from last year. And since there is no change within length this year, the same kind of room is predicted in all the rows. You get three rows of chairs, with many handy storage and cubby areas around the cabin. On the other hand, the interior has begun to seem old-fashioned, and while certain high-quality materials are there, many hard plastics are also noticeable.

Power adjustable seats are available exclusively with the SLT trim. At the same time, SLE purchasers will have to invest extra to have the Driver Convenience Package to enjoy 8-way power seats with lumbar support. Heated seats and leather seats also make their way on the SLT model but are not available with SLE even as an option.

Upgrade to the SLT trim and higher, and you get Navigation and an 8-speaker Bose Surround Sound System as standard. All the trims come with Apple CarPlay, Amazon Alexa, Android Auto, and other connectivity options, including Bluetooth, 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, and SiriusXM satellite radio.

The technology is relatively basic to learn and quite user-friendly and adaptive in everyday usability. There is an available option of a 6-inch heads-up display. A rear-seat entertainment system with two 8-inch screens and two Bluetooth headphones is also available.

2024 GMC Acadia Engine

The 2L turbo-4 and the 3.6L V6 are the only engine options for the 2024 GMC Acadia. There are two engine options, and you’ll get one of them based on your chosen trim. A 2.0 turbocharged inline-4 was added to replace the 2.5L liter engine in the SLE level, which formerly had its own engine option. The 2.0L turbocharged inline-4 cylinder engine develops 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. This engine has enough power for quick acceleration and overtakes on the highway, and it should fulfill the needs of most consumers.

You can get 310 horsepower and 271 pounds-feet of torque from the SUV’s 3.6L naturally aspirated V6 engine if you want it. This engine is available only with the SLT trim and the AT4 and Denali versions. Both engines are connected to a 9-speed automatic transmission, and front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard; all-wheel drive (AWD) is offered as an option across the lineup.

2024 GMC Acadia Price and Release Date

The 2024 GMC Acadia has not seen any significant modifications this year, but removing the SL trim means more standard amenities are offered with the SLE trim. A $900 increase has been made to the base price for both trim levels (SLE and SLT). The SLE trim is currently the entry-level model, and it costs $35,995 when new. The SLT costs $40,295, while the Acadia AT4 in 2024 costs $42,595 and is exclusively available with an all-wheel drive.
