2023 BMW X7 Release Date, Interior, Price

2023 BMW X7 Release Date, Interior, PriceThe redesigned 2023 BMW X7 includes lived spied testing for the second time this year, wrapped in camo. From what we’ve seen, the next-generation X7 will only arrive with a mid-cycle refresh. The subsequent X7 will come with a more radical look than its predecessor. It isn’t clear what BMW has planned for the engines, but there are many speculations. The current X7 offers inline-6 and V8 units, including a high-performance V8. We also expect BMW to introduce its next-generation 7-Series simultaneously with the X7.

The facelifted version of the 2023 BMW X7 has been spied testing recently, with some drastic cosmetic changes. Previously seen on the X8 prototype, the forthcoming X7 will receive almost equal treatment on the front. The new spy shots reveal a test vehicle with a lot of camouflage that hides the large grille adopting the new look and headlight layout. Interestingly, the headlights of the new BMW X7 are positioned significantly lower on the fascia compared to the current X7. BMW will try to make X7 more aggressive and make its design closer to the X8. On top of that, the new BMW X7 offers three potent engines using a mild-hybrid system.

Exterior Design

As mentioned, the next-gen 2023 BMW X7 will receive some mild upgrades here and there. At first glance, we noticed that the face of the X7 would be revised, thanks to split headlights and a new grille. The changes on the front will also include a positioned lower LED headlight, resulting in a more brooding look. However, considering the changes of the all-other X models, the kidneys of the grille may be split with this facelift. However, changes at the back are likely to be minimal. As we can see, there’s a new design for the lower fascia, and the manufacturer added a new exhaust tip and a slightly revised taillight.

The 2023 BMW X7 lives one of the giant SUVs you can find on the market. Recently, this luxury flagship model has been caught on-road testing, wholly wrapped with camo. As we managed to see, the new X7 will retain the current car’s striking front grille that looks bigger, resulting in more sporty styling. Generally, the most visible change is on the headlights, which have moved lower down the front end. Also, they look better, adopting a more rectangular shape, similar to those on the recently introduced i7 model. The new SUV also features a reshaped lower bumper and the same side air intake.

Interior Design

The cabin of the new 2023 BMW X7 could also be updated with more materials and technology. Unfortunately, there is no single spy shot inside. The interior of the following X7 may be updated with the same technology designed for the subsequent 7-Series.

That means the next BMW X7 will be a step up in luxury compared to the current generation. We expect the X7 to come with a 10.25-inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi, satellite radio, two USB ports, navigation, gesture control, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone integration. Also, 464-watt/16-speaker Harman Kardon surround-sound system should be standard equipment. At this instant, there stand no available images inside the new 2023 BMW X7. Most likely that this SUV will continue with the same seating layout. Generally, we can expect more modern technology and even more premium materials inside.

There’s a lot of exquisite leather in the latest model’s luxurious cabin. The X7 is one of the best-equipped vehicles in its class in terms of technological features. This vehicle boasts a 12.3-inch instrument panel cluster that can be customized and is compatible with Android Auto Auto. In addition, a 12.3-inch display screen, Wi-Fi, wireless cellphone charging, or a 205-watt/10-speaker sound system are all included as standard equipment. For many, the M package is really the best value for money. 5-zone automated climate control, multi-contour seats, aluminum sideboards, rear-wheel steering, or a 1,500-watt/20-speaker surround sound system by Bowers & Wilkins are included in this package.

2023 BMW X7 Engine

It isn’t clear what BMW will offer under the hood of the X7, but there are many speculations. The current X7 is powered by choice of a few engines. All starts with a standard inline-6 and goes to V8 units, including a high-performance V8. Considering the X7 uses the CLAR platform that supports electric powertrains, a plug-in option is likely. It’s also destined for the subsequent 7-Series. In fact, the electric 7-Series prototype is already being tested.
